Craniosacral Therapy for mom and baby with Integrative Wellness Practitioner Shari Stamps

What if you felt truly prepared for postpartum?

What if you had the support you needed to navigate the fourth trimester—with someone checking in on you as much as your baby? Imagine knowing you’re not alone, and that both you and your little one are being cared for as you heal and adjust.

That’s the kind of care Shari Stamps is passionate about.

In this episode, I sit down with Shari – a mom of six and integrative wellness practitioner – to talk about what it really means to support both baby and parent in those early weeks and months.

Shari shares insights from her personal journey and extensive training in postpartum support, lactation, oral ties, craniosacral therapy, baby-led sleep, and more.

We dive into what she wishes every parent knew before birth, and how we can better prepare for the fourth trimester.

Shari and I talk about:

  • Why so many families feel unprepared for postpartum
  • Common challenges in the fourth trimester
  • What parents should know about oral ties and their impact on feeding, sleep, and development
  • Tongue ties and what to look out for in our baby’s mouths
  • Baby-led sleep vs. sleep training
  • What craniosacral therapy is
  • How craniosacral therapy and infant massage can support healing and regulation for both moms and babies

Shari Stamps is a neurodivergent mom to six, consultant, freelancer, podcaster, and the founder of Navigating Parenthood where she combines her expertise in lactation, airway, bodywork, maternal mental health, and sleep to offer wellness sessions, courses, and digital downloads to expecting and postpartum families. Shari has trained as a Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator Counselor, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Myo Munchee and Bebe Provider, Infant Massage Instructor, Mother Warmer, Infant Craniosacral Therapist, Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist, and Myofunctional Therapist.
